Camp Victory Ministries is a year-round Christian summer camp and retreat center dedicated to inspiring people to trust and treasure Jesus Christ. It is a non-profit, non-denominational camp that states a commitment to living out scripture, with a mission to share Jesus’ death and resurrection with everyone through missions and outreach. The camp describes itself as a mission field where lives are transformed, leaders are developed, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is shared with the next generation, with an emphasis on faith, friends, and fun.

Camp Victory offers several program options, including Trailblazers day camp for upcoming grades K–4, Navigator day camp for upcoming grades 5–8, Pioneers overnight camp for upcoming grades 3–6, Explorers overnight camp for upcoming grades 6–9, Family Camp, Grandparent Camp, Winter Blast (described as summer camp in the winter time), and youth retreats where Camp Victory provides the camp property, a speaker, and programming. Fun is described by the camp as the “honorary rule” and core of its programs.

Camp Victory was established in 1943 by two American Missionary Fellowship missionaries named John and Ruth Larson. The leadership team includes David Nelson (Executive Director), Susan Nelson (Food Service Director), Brent Nelson (Operations Director), Samuel Smith (Program Director), Emmarie Moon (Director of Discipleship & Recruiting), Megan Olson (Retreats Director), Ethan Wood (Marketing and Communications Coordinator), Sara Hunt (Registrar/Office Manager), Dan Kellander (Maintenance Director), Lin Gentling (Events Coordinator), Cory Stangler (House Keeping), and Robert Thalmann (Head Cook). The camp states that safety is prioritized with highly-trained staff who are prepared to handle a variety of situations, whether on the High Ropes course, in the river, or in their cabin.

Camp Victory notes that it would not be able to run without the support of its community, friends, and Camp Victory family. Camper comments from 2025 include statements such as “Camp Victory is awesome, I can’t wait to come back!” and “Camp is awesome and it’s absolutely amazing what God does at camp!” Other campers mention learning that Jesus loves them no matter what, not wanting anything about camp to change, enjoying spending time outside, and having favorite moments like accepting Christ for the first time or doing the Zip Line with a cousin.
