Kids' Horseback Riding Camps

Kids' Horseback Riding Camps include horseback riding, horsemanship, safety, and horse care. Campers take part in games, crafts, hands on activities, caring for farm animals, trail riding, and an end-of-week Fun Show that includes decorating the horses and showcasing their horseback riding skills.

• Ages: 4–17 years old
• Schedule: Weekly half and full day camp options throughout Spring and Summer, with special camps during select Winter and early Spring time periods based on local school calendars

Kids' Horseback Riding Camps use qualified staff, experienced horses, and established facilities. The camps serve campers from beginners to advanced and can help prepare students for weekly riding lessons also offered at Sunset Trails Stables. The mission of the program is to provide an environment that nurtures learning, caring, and fun for boys and girls of any age. The leadership team includes Maggie Everson, who took the reins at her family’s business and earned the title of Miss Rodeo Missouri in 2014, and Ethan, whose family has owned Sunset Trails Horse Stables for the past 16 years. Sunset Trails also offers a mobile petting zoo and pony rides that travel to homes, parks, or festivals, year-round trail riding, and many impromptu and planned social events throughout the year.
