About

Foundry Art Camp includes activities such as exploring the Foundry’s exhibitions, learning about art history, and engaging in discussions with the Foundry’s studio artists. Campers take part in painting, sculpture, tie-dye, clay work, and a variety of clay and painting projects. Activities also include exploring the color wheel, mixing paints, creating artworks using color, making fruit still life pieces, food collages, hand-built sculptures, pottery, drawing, painting and sculpting animals, painting garden scenes, designing plant-inspired prints, crafting with natural textures, transforming stones into works of art, hand-building and coiling with clay, making pinch pots, creating bowls and sculptures, and creating disco balls and lava lamps, as well as tie-dyeing a camp T-shirt.

• Schedule: Week-long, full-day Art Camps with sessions Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Price: $235 Per Session

Art Camps are led by skilled art instructors, and campers are grouped by age. All materials are provided, and registration includes a camp T-shirt. Each session features its own theme and creative outlet, and each camp session includes clay and painting projects. Registration opens February 1 at 8:00 a.m., and there is no camp June 29 – July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The Foundry Art Centre is a nonprofit organization and a division of the Greater Saint Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau.
