Springfield Little Theatre Six-Week Classes offer acting, voice, dance, and sewing classes, including specific options such as STORY EXPLORERS, ACTING BASICS, ACT/TEEN, DO-RE-MI, FA-SO, LA-TI-DO, BROADWAY BABIES, BROADWAY BOUND, STEPPIN’ OUT, GOTTA DANCE, Elementary Ballet/Musical Theatre Styles, Elementary Tap, Teen Tap, Male Musical Theatre Dance Technique for Teens, Beginning and Intermediate Ballet & Musical Theatre Dance for Teens, BEGINNING SEWING, and ADVANCED SEWING. These six-week class sessions include an informal presentation during the last half of the final class each session, when parents and family are welcome to attend and observe what students have been working on. Sign-up for two classes or more in a session includes a 10% discount on each additional class.

Springfield Little Theatre’s Education Department offers these six-week classes for youth of all ages and adults in acting, voice, and dance, and the classes are available to all skill levels. Springfield Little Theatre states that ticket sales only cover 44% of expenses. Its mission is to entertain, educate, and involve the community in live theatrical productions and in the preservation of the historic Landers Theatre. The organization is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven group energized by the highest artistic ideals. It is a proud member of the Downtown Springfield Association, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and the American Association of Community Theatre, and a proud supporter of Celebrate Springfield.
