Gracie Barra Washington Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Programs offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes along with self defense, bully prevention, sports participation, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, submission wrestling, mixed martial arts, and Muay Thai. The programs and classes teach power, focus, balance, integrity, respect and confidence to all regardless of age or experience. Classes are aligned with the Gracie Barra Program Structure developed by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. to meet specific learning needs for people of different ages, gender and levels.

The Gracie Barra School of Washington was founded in October 2018 and is locally owned and operated by long-time Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students native to the Washington, Missouri area. The leadership team includes Professor Tyler, Coach Jesse, and Coach Cates. Coach Jesse has been practicing martial arts since he was 8 years old, including taekwondo, karate, boxing, and kickboxing, has trained and competed in multiple countries, was ranked 3rd in the nation for sport karate Kumite (point fighting) in Sydney, Australia in 2011, and has been a certified instructor with Gracie Barra since 2021. Gracie Barra has been rated the #1 team by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
Children's classes for ages 4–6 and 7–9 years are described as a fun, safe and age appropriate way to introduce children to martial arts. Kids' classes for ages 10–12 and teens' classes for ages 13–15 are described as being designed to help kids grow into healthy, strong and confident young men and women. Women's and men's classes teach the Gracie Barra jiu-jitsu system that has produced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts champions.
