• Schedule: Summer camp sessions are available to the general public in 3-night and 5-night options.
Camp Willow Springs is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian camp and retreat center that is owned and operated by Youth Camps for Christ, Inc. The summer camp program at Camp Willow Springs is designed for campers in grades 3–6, and the Camp Willow Run summer program is available for campers in grades 7–12, without regard to race, color, national origin, limited disabilities, or religious preference. Camp Willow Springs can currently serve up to 144 campers or guests using eight duplex dormitories, a swimming pool complex, dining hall, meeting room, amphitheater, health care center, office, and recreation areas. Each duplex dormitory is air-conditioned, heated, and equipped with bathrooms, and up to 20 campers and 2 counselors or chaperones live in each duplex. As development continues, Camp Willow Springs will eventually serve over 240 campers or guests and can host church camps and Christian groups of up to 175 guests for spring and fall retreats.
The three-fold purpose of Camp Willow Springs is to win youth to Christ, help mature those who are already Christians, and demonstrate that a person can be a Christian and have fun. The Christian lifestyle is demonstrated by a carefully selected staff and is taught through Bible study, devotions, music, and personal interaction. In 1967, the late Reverend Erbie Mangum, Jr. and his wife, Linda, received the vision for starting Christian camps, development of Camp Willow Run began in 1968, and Camp Willow Springs opened in 2014 for campers and guests.
