About
North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Youth Programs connect young people with the Museum’s exhibits, live animal displays, and research spaces. Participants can see science in action in the Nature Research Center’s laboratories and explore exhibitions that highlight North Carolina’s natural habitats, wildlife, and geology from the Appalachian Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. In 2024, the programs include access to “Dueling Dinosaurs,” a permanent exhibition and laboratory featuring the most complete fossils of a tyrannosaur and Triceratops ever found, preserved together at the time of death.
