• Ages: 5–14 years old

Organized in 2001, the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation has introduced children to the game for more than 25 years. The Foundation is a public charity with a mission to help kids have fun learning the lifelong game of golf and to encourage family interaction that builds lasting memories. The U.S. Kids Golf Coaches Institute trains coaches around the world in Best Practices for developing young players and is based on more than two decades of research and data. The Foundation has developed programs that have impacted over one million young players around the world, organizes more than 2300 tournaments each year worldwide, and has a global network of certified coaches. More than 2,500 tournaments are held annually worldwide, with more than 30,000 players ages 5–14 participating in events, and these tournaments are recognized as the most family-friendly and well-run events in kids golf. The Dewey Crim Equipment Grants provide youth-sized equipment and learning resources to certified coaches, ensuring young players are introduced to the game with tools designed specifically for them. The U.S. Kids Golf Foundation has earned a Candid Platinum Seal, the highest level of recognition for nonprofit transparency from one of the world’s premier nonprofit rating systems.
