AYSO Region 572 Youth Soccer offers youth soccer for children and teens, with activities that include player registration, volunteering, coaching, and refereeing. The program is run by dedicated local volunteers who serve on the board and organize events. It focuses on player development of soccer skills and knowledge, with an emphasis on positive coaching and good sportsmanship.

AYSO Region 572 Youth Soccer is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), the oldest national youth soccer program in the United States. AYSO was founded in 1964. AYSO 572 is a nonprofit organization with open registration for all children between 4 and 19 years of age who want to register and play soccer, with no elimination try-outs and nobody getting cut. The program forms balanced teams each year as evenly as possible, and its goal is that every player on every team must play at least 50% of every game. AYSO 572 proudly serves the Haywood County area in North Carolina, including Canton, Clyde, and Waynesville. AYSO's Mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs that promote a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies.
