Farm School by the Sea offers nature-based early childhood education programs that include farm tours, Discovery Days, beginner horse riding lessons, Saddle Club monthly meetups, weekly day camps, and farm camps. Children take part in hands-on learning, seasonal exploration, and play as part of the program’s activities.

Farm School by the Sea offers nature-based early childhood education programs for children ages 0–10 and a nature-based early childhood education program for children ages 3–12. The program includes developmentally appropriate lessons in phonics, literacy, math, science, art, and social studies, along with practical, hands-on experiences in a farm setting and a low teacher to student ratio.
Farm School by the Sea’s mission is to offer nature-based early childhood education programs that foster connections with nature, community, and self. According to its mission statement, the program uses hands-on learning, seasonal exploration, and play, and it states that it nurtures curiosity, resilience, and environmental stewardship, and empowers children to grow as thoughtful, capable, and compassionate individuals.
Seahorse Stables is a privately owned family farm and equestrian center, home to the Gordon family and established in 2018 out of their love for all things coastal and country. Since 2018, Seahorse Stables has introduced beginner horse enthusiasts to the world of equines. Seahorse Stables is a lifetime member of the North Carolina Horse Council, whose mission is to serve as the voice of the North Carolina equine community through education, communication, and representation.
Children entering Farm School must be between the ages of 3–10 and able to toilet independently.
