Spread Your Wings Camps offers hands-on discovery, building, experimenting, and STEM camp experiences with themes that include exploring aviation and exploring space. Camp options include Cosmic Kids Discovery Camp, Galactic Expedition, Code the Sky: Intro to Aerospace Engineering, Superhero Flight School, Rockets, Robots, and Rescue Missions, Aviation Explorers, Wings and Things: Flying Creatures, Let Your Imagination Take Flight!, Mission: Space Camp, Flight HER-Story: Women in Aviation, Molly and Nanea’s Homefront Adventures, Young Time Travelers: Soaring Through History, Drone Soccer, Astronaut Training, Robotics, and Operation Easter Egg Hunt.

Spread Your Wings Camps are part of a museum that has been sharing this critical time in history with the next generations for 25 years and is ascending into its 25th year. The museum’s mission statement is “Igniting Curiosity. Inspiring Innovation,” and it states that it is on a mission to provide innovative and interactive experiences inspired by the past to imagine the limitless possibilities for the future. The museum specializes in science and space exploration, technological innovation, and sharing and preserving the nation’s history, and it aims to secure its spot as the Midwest’s premier museum and science center. The museum supports STEM education in the community and is described as an important partner to the community.
The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum has been honored with two significant accolades at the 2024 AIA (American Institute of Architects) Nebraska chapter for its museum designers receiving architectural recognition. Members of the museum receive unlimited access to an ever-changing lineup of immersive and interactive exhibits and have access to a Members Only Movie Night event.
