United PDX Summer Camps offer soccer activities that include daily play and a World Cup tournament at the end of each day. Each camp focuses on soccer skills and game situations led by United PDX coaches.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday camps, 9 am–2 pm on selected weeks in June and July 2026
• Price: $350 per camper
United PDX will offer four summer camps for enthusiastic soccer players aged 6–12. Campers take part in soccer sessions where coaches provide situations and exercises related to different fundamental parts of the game each day, and each day ends with a World Cup tournament that culminates with a final on Friday. Campers are encouraged to develop their technical and tactical abilities in an age- and developmentally appropriate environment, and all ability levels and players are welcome. Players do not have to be on a United PDX team to register for a camp.
The professional staff consists of United PDX coaches and is led by Trevor Tharp and Jon Wilkins, United PDX Youth Development Directors. Trevor Tharp holds a USSF B License, was named OYSA Recreational Coach of the Year in 2018, has served as Director of the United PDX Youth Development Academy since 2012, was Warner Pacific Assistant Men’s Team Coach from 2011 to 2013, and was Oregon Soccer Academy U10 Director from 2004 to 2011. His background also includes being an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American in 2004 and earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. United PDX’s mission is to develop young people for the challenges and opportunities of life through the game of soccer.
United PDX is centered across neighborhood soccer communities within the city of Portland, Oregon and surrounding communities. The organization serves nearly 3,000 girl and boy youth soccer players aged 4 through 19 years old, has a volunteer base of nearly 400 adults, and employs nearly 50 licensed coaches. The original non-profit organizations that formed United PDX, Northeast United and Bridlemile Soccer Clubs, have been in existence since the mid-1980s.
