About

Little Fish Swim School offers sing-a-long swim classes, one-on-one swim lessons, group lessons, family swim pool rentals, multi family pool rentals, and special abilities swim lessons. Lessons take place in covered, heated backyard pools in a quiet, calm setting, with pools covered by greenhouses and kept at 89 degrees all year long. Lessons use a variety of pool toys and games, goggles for going underwater, and a predictable, repetitive structure, with only one child and one instructor in the water at a time and a curated curriculum for each individual.

Little Fish Swim School uses a connection-based, intuitive teaching approach that focuses on trust and safety, with lessons that can be booked individually with ongoing enrollment and options to purchase lesson passes or packages. The setting is described as special abilities and neurodivergent-friendly, with routine games and a predictable flow of lessons, and up to two families (up to eight people total) can rent the pool together for group pool rentals, with every family required to sign up for a Little Fish account. Families can schedule, reschedule, or cancel lessons with more than 24 hours’ notice, there are no refunds on unused lesson credits, expiration dates can be extended, and lessons expire one year after purchase.

The founder, Emily Bradley, leads the program and combines water safety and child development principles, drawing on over 20 years of experience teaching kids the art of swimming and expertise as a child development facilitator. Teachers have backgrounds in swimming and child development. The mission of Little Fish Swim School is that every person can learn to be safe and love the water, and the program states a goal to support families, bring its swim methods to new communities, and build a supportive community for families.
