Camp Takodah Summer Camp is part of the Takodah YMCA and specializes in summer camp, outdoor education, travel programs, and retreats and rentals. Campers at Camp Takodah Summer Camp do not have computer access, are prohibited from bringing cell phones, and are not permitted to make calls home. Camp Takodah Summer Camp does not permit visitors except in emergencies or during changeover weekends for 4-, 6-, and 8-week campers.

• Schedule: Spring season runs from April 29th through June 14th
Families may send letters and care packages, limited to no more than one care package per child per session, and are asked not to include food, gum, or candy; any food sent in care packages is discarded. Parents may send one-way emails to campers, limited to one message per day, and local families dropping off mail, forms, or packages are asked to bring them directly to the office without stopping at any cabin or program area. Staff members are prohibited from “friending” or interacting privately with campers on social media platforms or online.
The Takodah YMCA states that it exists to help kids reach their full potential and focuses on belonging, autonomy, achievement, and relationships. Camp Takodah has been voted Best Camp in New Hampshire. Nick Wheeler serves as the Outdoor Education Director at Camp Takodah, and he previously worked for five years as Outdoor Education & Conference Director at Camp Lakewood in Missouri, taught English for a year in Indonesia, and opened and ran a smoothie and juice bar in California. The leadership team also includes Sarah Cunningham, Carolyn Billington, and Kate Stahl, who are identified as authors or writers of blog posts or pieces for the organization.
