Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre (ACBT) Performing Arts Academy is the official school of ACBallet and features fully-staged professional ballet performances by a company of dancers from around the world. The program includes educational programs designed to fit the needs of a diverse student population, community outreach initiatives, and a repertoire of original works such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Dracula, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, and It's a Shore Holiday. Performances are held year-round and also include a Nutcracker pre-party called “Before the Ballet: Sugarplums & More!” with specialty holiday cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, Shirley Temples, Christmas cookies, and exclusive program notes from Founding Artistic Director and Prima Ballerina, Phyllis Papa.
