Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre (ACBT) Performing Arts Academy is the official school of the Atlantic City Ballet and focuses on dance and ballet. Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre (ACBT) Performing Arts Academy is led by founder Phyllis Papa, an International Ballerina who founded the organization in 1982. The Atlantic City Ballet states that it serves as a prime artistic resource to residents of Atlantic City and surrounding areas by offering fully staged performances by a company of professional dancers and educational programs designed to fit the needs of a diverse student population.
