• Summer Coding Camps — 6-18 · In-person summer camps; camp recommendations are based on age and skill level, and all are open to discussion based on a child's coding experience.
• Vibe Code Adventure — 10+ · AI/vibe coding camp; no prior coding knowledge is needed.
• Python Startup — 10+ · Beg/Int; some experience preferred but not necessary. For intermediate coders; no Python experience necessary.
• Webrox — 10+ · Beg/Int; for novice or intermediate coders.
• Rise of the Machines — 9+ · AI for beginners; some coding experience required.
• Battlebots Academy — 8-10
• Digital Art and Animation — 6-9
• Game Development — 8-10 · Aimed at newbie and novice coders.
• Minecraft! — 10+ · Kids learn coding through Minecraft; perfect for kids 9 years old and up.
• Roblox! — 10+
• Robocode — 10+

About the provider

Founded in 2013, theCoderSchool Montgomery says it mentors each child individually while students build programming foundations and learn how AI works, how to use it responsibly, and how to think critically about technology. The program partners with the Congressional App Challenge, and students from theCoderSchool Montgomery were named winners of the Congressional App Challenge for New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District for Pantry Link.

Code Coaching uses a super-small 2:1 teaching ratio. Camps are open to discussion based on a child's experience with coding. Some camps require experience; others do not. Ask the location for specifics as the ratio can vary.
