Fabulous Feet Dance Co. offers dance and performance programs that include dance classes, competition routines, and recitals. The program also offers adult classes and creates wedding choreography, including for alumni students.
Fabulous Feet Dance Co. is led by FFDC’s Artistic Director and Owner, Ms. Tara Robinson. The FFDC dance course curriculum was developed with 25 years of experience and extensive education, and it includes proper dance terminology, creative combinations and dance moves, an extensive syllabus, improvisation skills, and fitness and health safety while learning. Every staff member is an accomplished, experienced professional with multiple accredited awards and accolades in the performing arts, as well as multiple degrees in Performing Arts or Fine Arts concentrations and several up-to-date dance course certifications, and staff members attend conventions, workshops, and classes to keep their teaching material and choreography current. The studio has been dedicated to dance excellence for 15 years and is described as a second generation studio with many alumni returning with their own children, returning to help with recitals, events, charitable affairs, and to take adult classes. FFDC’s curriculum and class material provide award-winning competition routines, and FFDC dancers perform annually on live television for syndicated broadcasting networks in five national parades. The program offers a free trial class and is described as a leading dance studio in the Camden County area that has been proven to provide families with affordable and quality dance instruction, with an emphasis on charity missions and community volunteering. Ms. Tara and many students and families have volunteered to help clean up surrounding towns by painting playgrounds and removing trash, have hosted several lemonade stands to help fund childhood cancer research for Alex’s Lemonade Stand organization (earning a spot in the top 100 lemonade stand donations in the country the first time FFDC hosted one), and have helped gather donations for local holiday toy drives or for a few local families. The mission of Fabulous Feet Dance Co. states that its dance and performance programs are structured so dancers learn in a way they can understand for their age and ability level, that staff take pride in providing a joyful, nurturing environment for dancers and their families, and that the programs assist dancers in developing physical and social skills, learning rhythmic patterns using their bodies, obtaining accurate dance terminology, channeling their energy, stimulating their imagination, learning performance skills, achieving the ability to learn choreography, and promoting their creativity while instilling self-confidence, while staff members strive to provide dancers with a safe environment while they participate in an activity they enjoy.
