MLC STEM Center offers STEM-focused summer camps, spring camps, fall school break camps, and single-day camps when school is closed. The program also runs in-school and after-school programs, field trips, and programs for schools, scouts, homeschools, and other organizations. Children take part in activities such as robotics, coding, engineering projects, building bridges and roller coasters, designing apps, launching rockets, solving science mysteries, and exploring topics like energy, weather, money, the human body, space, reverse engineering, and Minecraft.

MLC STEM Center offers a Maker Lab that focuses on robotics and hands-on building using simple machines, motors, and tools through guided projects. STEM, STEAM, and Engineering classes include activities like using simple machines, building, testing, and problem-solving through guided projects. Code Academy includes game design, app development, and coding basics, while Little Engineers focuses on playful, hands-on learning for younger children through science, engineering, and math activities and games. Additional options include chess, Robotics and Makey Makey, creating robots, instruments, and computer games using circuits, creating animation, team building, and playing outdoor games.
Since 2004, MLC STEM Center has been a leader in hands-on STEM education for students age 3 to 11. The Executive Director, Christiane Agkpo, holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal and an MBA from Columbia University. The program states that its mission is to provide high-quality, innovative STEM education that is both challenging and fun, and to empower students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in the 21st century.
Parent testimonials describe the camp as including robotics, Makey Makey, chess, coding, animation, team building, outdoor games, space, reverse engineering, and Minecraft. Parents report that their children enjoyed creating robots, instruments, and computer games using circuits, as well as playing chess with a variety of kids and returning to the camp over multiple years.
