Bloomingdale Day Care offers play-based learning that includes movement and music, storytelling, rhyming, and sensory play. Children take part in hands-on activities for literacy, math, social studies, science, and art. The program also offers Summer Camp programs with educational fun and exciting themes that take children on learning adventures from the depths of the oceans to outer space.

Bloomingdale Day Care has been providing the community with nine programs of care since 1982. Its Seeds Infant Programs serve infants ages 6 weeks to around 18 months old, Sprouts Toddler Programs serve toddlers ages 12 months to around 36 months, Blossoms Preschool and Prekindergarten Programs serve children ages 4 to around 5 years old, and Afterschool Programs (MBD & SRD) serve children ages 5–13 years old in collaboration with the Samuel R Donald and Martha B Day school in Bloomingdale, NJ. The program uses The Creative Curriculum, a research-based, play-based learning curriculum that focuses on interest areas and fosters creativity, along with the Bloomingdale Day Care P.L.A.Y.S. to Learn framework (Physical, Language, Activities, Yet, Social). Bloomingdale Day Care and Bloomingdale Afterschool participate in Grow NJ Kids. The program connects with parents through the Pro Care app to share daily activities, classroom updates, photos, and videos, and to send messages throughout the day, and there are telephones in every classroom for parents to check in.
