About
Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey Camps offer summer day camp, troop camping, family camping, and hosted events. Depending on the camp, participants can climb a rock wall or rock tower, canoe or boat on a lake, shoot archery, zip line through the woods, go on hay rides, try geocaching, hike, and go swimming. Some camp locations also feature the Girl Scout HerStory Center and zip-lining activities.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey Camps follow the Girl Scouts mission that girls discover who they are, tap into the power inside them, and build the confidence to let it shine, with programs where girls of all backgrounds and abilities come as they are and create their own paths. Through these programs, girls explore their passions, develop hands-on skills, and discover tools they need to lead with joy, including in settings such as science labs, hiking trails, cookie booths, and city councils, supported by volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums in a lifelong sisterhood. The camps also offer free Summer Camp Open House days with guided tours and chances to meet staff members and Camp Directors.
Community Service hours are available during Camp Service Days, when participants help with trail maintenance, touching up paint, and cleaning cabins and dining halls, and participants in these days are instructed to bring lunch.
