About

Jr. 76ers Basketball Camps focuses on basketball skills such as shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, rebounding, and teamwork. Campers take part in the “Spirit of ’76” character development program and follow a curriculum that teaches the game the 76ers Way, with drills that players in the NBA use. Jr. 76ers Clinics create a pathway for young hoopers to learn the game the 76ers Way in a setting that promotes development in a safe and fun learning environment.

• Ages: 6–17 years old

Since 1985, over 115,000 campers from more than 40 states and 50 countries have attended Jr. 76ers Basketball Camps. The camps are designed for boys and girls ages 6–17, with Jr. 76ers Day Camps for players ages 6–14 and Jr. 76ers Academy for boys and girls ages 10–17, based on fundamentals and skill development. Programs have received recognition for meeting the needs of all skill levels, from beginner to pro, and the curriculum is designed in conjunction with the Philadelphia 76ers staff. Jr. 76ers Basketball Camps are described as the #1 Basketball Camp in the NBA, and this recognition has been in place since 1985. Guest speakers may include 76ers legends, and all such appearances are based on availability. Some facilities used by the program have adjustable rim heights, water bottle filling stations, and smaller baskets for younger players, and RiverWinds Community Center offers two state-of-the-art gymnasiums encompassed by an indoor running and walking track.
