Summer STEM Camp offers weekly STEM and STEAM camps that include activities such as Roblox Creators & 3D Art, Flight Engineering & Weather Report, Minecraft Adventures & Lego Builders, Robotics, Coding with Scratch, Filmmaking, Chess Camp 1, and Chess Camp 2. Additional offerings at the center include chess, math, coding, Creative Design, Engineering, Financial Literacy, STEM Fusion, robotics classes, chess tournaments, and the AMC 8 exam.
• Ages: 8–14 years old
• Schedule: Weekly summer camps run Monday–Friday, 9 am–4 pm, with 2026 Summer Camps offered every week from June 22 to August 28; Spring 2026 classes meet once per week for 1 hour starting February 2, 2026
• Price: $450 per camp for Roblox Creators & 3D Art, Flight Engineering & Weather Report, Minecraft Adventures & Lego Builders, Robotics, Coding with Scratch, Filmmaking, Chess Camp 1, and Chess Camp 2
South Jersey Innovation Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) education and activities to the South Jersey area and is supported by individuals, businesses, and foundations. The center hosts chess tournaments, including SJIC’s 12th Super Bowl Pregame Chess Tournament, and also hosts the AMC 8 exam and AI Innovation Hub events. Parents describe the center as welcoming and mention experiences with robotics, coding, chess, math, STEM Fusion, Lego-based activities, and chess tournaments, as well as workshops such as “Chess for Girls.”
