Summer STEM Camp offers several themed camps that include Roblox Creators & 3D Art, Flight Engineering & Weather Report, Minecraft Adventures & Lego Builders, Robotics, Coding with Scratch, Filmmaking, Chess Camp 1, and Chess Camp 2. The program also offers additional options such as STEM Fusion, coding, Creative Design, Engineering, Financial Literacy, robotics class, chess classes, private chess lessons, chess tournaments, and a workshop called “Chess for Girls.”
• Ages: 8–14 years old
• Schedule: Summer camp weeks run from 6/22–8/28 with camp days Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm
• Price: $450 per camp session listed (Roblox Creators & 3D Art, Flight Engineering & Weather Report, Minecraft Adventures & Lego Builders, Robotics, Coding with Scratch, Filmmaking, Chess Camp 1, Chess Camp 2)
South Jersey Innovation Center, which runs Summer STEM Camp, is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) education and activities to the South Jersey area. The organization also holds AI Innovation Hub events and chess tournaments multiple times, including Tournament Sundays from 10am–8pm. Parents describe experiences with robotics, coding, chess, math lessons, STEM Fusion, and camps, and note offerings such as online and in-person chess classes, private chess lessons, and a workshop called “Chess for Girls.”
