About
Collingswood Recreation Programs offers activities including Winter Basketball, Wrestling, Spring Travel Soccer, Summer Swim Team, Fall Field Hockey, Rec. Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Travel Soccer, and Masters Swim Meet. The program also includes Camps, Movies in Knight Park, Performing Arts, Youth Theatre, Community Chorus, Maker & Mind Programs, and Odyssey of the Mind.
• Schedule: Summer Program registration opens May 18th at 11am, and Swim Lesson registration opens June 11th at 12pm.\n• Price: registration fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable
Collingswood Recreation states that all activities are for Collingswood residents and the sending districts Oaklyn and Woodlynne. Its mission is to work cooperatively to improve the lives of the residents of Collingswood, NJ by offering recreation and leisure activities, with a goal to promote community spirit, participation, and positive experiences for all with a professional and consistent approach. All Collingswood Recreation Volunteers who have direct contact with children are required to complete a background screening for the Borough and watch the Protecting Children Video. The leadership team includes Daniela Solano-Ward, Mayor, Director of Revenue, Finance, and Sustainability Initiatives; Amy Henderson Riley, Commissioner, Director of Public Safety and Public Affairs; M. James Maley, Jr., Commissioner, Director of Public Works, Parks, and Public Property; and Jake Goodman, Recreation Director.
