About
Cresthill Academy Preschool Programs include on-site enrichment activities such as dance, sports, music, art instruction, foreign language instruction, music and movement classes, yoga, gardening, soccer, and karate during school hours in the classroom environment. Children participate in these activities through professionally led 10–12 week programs in small, supportive groups within their classroom environment.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
• Schedule: Flexible full-time and part-time schedules with before- and after-school care and 10–12 week sessions; summer camps are available at select locations
Since 2010, Cresthill Academy Preschool Programs have been part of Cresthill Academy’s high-quality childcare, daycare, and preschool offerings for families in New Jersey, serving children from 6 weeks through kindergarten readiness in licensed infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K programs. The programs follow a play-based, child-focused philosophy that supports each child’s developmental, emotional, and academic growth, and use the EsteamED Curriculum, which combines Empathy, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, Entrepreneurship, and Diplomacy. The curriculum blends Montessori-inspired exploration with play-based learning and integrates technology and language learning in age-appropriate ways, including multi-lingual programs with foreign language instruction that begins in the infant program.
Teachers in Cresthill Academy Preschool Programs are highly qualified and experienced early childhood educators with degrees in early childhood education or related fields, and they hold CPR and first aid certification. The program uses SMART Board interactive learning and transparent communication apps, and families receive multiple photos and videos each day through the school’s app, as described in parent testimonials. Cresthill Academy partners with local vendors and professional providers so children can take classes such as soccer, dance, karate, sports, music, and art instruction while at school.
Cresthill Academy Preschool Programs include fresh organic or GMO-free meals and snacks daily on campus through a partnership with Purely Plated Organics, along with an organic/GMO-free meal program featuring freshly prepared meals crafted by a dedicated Cresthill Chef for all children on table food. Families also have access to a pickup dinner option with organic food. Classrooms are equipped with the AirScrubber system in addition to localized air purifiers in each classroom.
Parent testimonials describe long-term enrollment for multiple children, clear and consistent communication from directors, clean facilities, family events, academics that prepared children for kindergarten, and staff and teachers who are described as warm, caring, and holding themselves to a high standard in terms of education and enrichment. Parents also report receiving a stream of pictures and videos, healthy foods included in tuition, and note that both children currently enrolled are thriving.
