Glassboro Child Development Centers (GCDC) has been shaping young minds and changing the face of early childhood education for over 50 years. Its mission statement is that Glassboro Child Development Center offers a safe, fun, creative, and enriching experience for every child who comes through its doors. GCDC participates in United In Care, a grant-funded pilot project run by United Way of Northern New Jersey, and its partnerships and community ties have resulted in families receiving supplies including gift cards, turkeys, and rapid COVID tests. The program implements the Pyramid Model in each classroom.

Families describe GCDC and its programs as having diligent, inclusive care and a warm atmosphere, and several note that staff treat their children like family. Parents report that children are often engaged in STEAM related or creative activities, crafts, and other activities at pickup, and that the afterschool program includes homework help and access to teachers from the school the children attend. Multiple testimonials mention long-term use of GCDC across generations, appreciation for the RASKEL and Horizon programs, and gratitude for the grant-funded JURASSIC program with free aftercare.
