Super Science Programs for Kids offers hands-on workshops such as Chemical Wizardry, Super Science Explorers, Diggin’ for Dinosaurs, BattleBots, MiniBots, & Robotic Fun, Science, Art, & 3-D Pen Design, Super Science STEM Engineers, Crime Scene Investigation, LEGO Building & Machines, Super Science Make & Take, Flights, Mini Drones, & Rocketry, and LEGO WEDO Robots. Activities include paleontology projects where participants excavate and assemble complete skeletal replicas from simulated fossilized rock, make fossil replicas of dinosaur teeth and claws, build an erupting volcano, analyze rock and mineral specimens, perform chemistry experiments, build with LEGO and electronic components, construct robots, create science-themed art projects, build towers and bridges, and make items such as Flubber, “Instant” Snow, Super Hi-Bounce balls, glow bottles, and Lava Lamp-like creations. Additional activities include dusting for and classifying fingerprints, analyzing handwriting, testing for blood type/DNA using simulated blood, identifying mystery substances using chemistry, Battle Bot competitions, robot tug-o’-war, Olympic-style competitions, soccer matches, giant ramp races, Mission to Mars robot challenges, coding with Sphero Mini & Bolt, Ozobot, and other programmable robots, making CD spinners and Sharpie Shirts, building binoculars, using 3-D pens, making homemade instruments, painting, engineering projects with LEGO, K’NEX, wooden models, circuits, and everyday materials, building various LEGO model themes, creating working tornadoes in a bottle, battery-powered electric motors, bubble machines, doodling robots, glowing slime, and experimenting with paper planes, flying gadgets, rockets, airplanes, physics toys, and balloon cars.

• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Summer camps run in one-week sessions with daily options from 9:00–12:00 or 12:30–3:30 on dates such as June 29–July 3, July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, July 27–31, August 3–7, and August 10–14.
• Price: $159 per program session, including Super Science Explorers, Diggin’ for Dinosaurs, Chemical Wizardry, BattleBots, MiniBots, & Robotic Fun, Science, Art, & 3-D Pen Design, Super Science STEM Engineers, Crime Scene Investigation, LEGO Building & Machines, Super Science Make & Take, Flights, Mini Drones, & Rocketry, and LEGO WEDO Robots.

Super Science Programs for Kids is owned and operated by Dan “The Science Man” Weissman, an elementary STEAM teacher from the Hampton Township School District and national winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Math Teaching. The program is in its 20th year of operation and is run by a team of dedicated teachers and well-qualified science enthusiasts. Workshops are taught in a completely hands-on style and are described as being designed to be both fun and educational. Programs are also offered as science assemblies, preschool and after-school options, birthday parties and science-themed birthday parties, community programs, college for kids, and other types of events, and are run on weekends, school holidays, vacations, and summers. Many programs include take-home components, such as recipe booklets, chemistry kits, robot kits, mini-collections of rocks and minerals and fossils, crime scene kits, LEGO motors and battery packs, mini drones and airplanes, 3-D pen projects, and LEGO projects created in class.
