Camp Veritans offers campers activities in arts, adventure, aquatics, STEM, and sports. Campers take part in daily American Red Cross swim instruction, special events, theme days, in-camp celebrations, culture activities, a camp-style Shabbat celebration, and Israel Day. Campers in 2nd grade and up also go on trips, which are included in the program.

Camp Veritans is led by Director Kristi Clave and Assistant Director Allie Goodman. All lifeguards are American Red Cross certified, all Unit Leaders are CPR certified, and all staff undergo background checks. The camp has full-time armed security, secure sign-in and sign-out, cameras throughout camp, and active shooter training for all leadership and staff. A Registered Nurse and a Licensed Social Worker are on site, and campers are placed in small groups with specified camper-to-counselor ratios.
Camp Veritans was established in 1949 and has been ACA accredited since 2018. It is a Jewish heritage camp that is open to everyone and includes a Hebrew word of the day, celebrations of acts of kindness (mitzvot), and visiting counselors from Israel each summer. The camp is a beneficiary organization of the Jewish Federation of Northern NJ, is in partnership with Shomrei Torah Synagogue, and is a member of the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
Camp Veritans includes daily bus transportation to and from camp with routes throughout Bergen, Passaic, Essex, and Morris counties, with all rides kept under one hour and new routes for 2026 planned for Essex Fells, Teaneck, and Wyckoff (stops pending confirmation). The program includes a hot kosher lunch every day, a morning snack for younger campers, and an afternoon ice cream or ice pop. All camp activities, specialty programs, electives, trips for 2nd grade and up, and a birthday party for summer birthdays are included, with no hidden fees.
