Hasbrouck Heights Recreation Department Youth Programs offers a range of activities including Recreation Center children’s activities, Recreation Summer Camp, Recreation Basketball, Recreation Wrestling, Recreation Boys and Girls 1st & 2nd grade Basketball Clinics, Little League Softball, Recreation Travel Softball, and Recreation Track & Field. The department also runs Adult Basketball, Adult Volleyball, and Pickleball at Meirs Park as part of its recreation offerings.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Recreation Center is open on most Friday evenings; Recreation Summer Camp registration opens the first week of April; Recreation Basketball, Recreation Wrestling, and Recreation Boys and Girls 1st & 2nd grade Basketball Clinics registration opens 10/1; Recreation Travel Softball registration opens February 2025; Recreation Track & Field registration opens March 2025; Adult Basketball meets Tuesdays 6:30pm–9:00pm and Adult Volleyball meets Thursdays 6:30pm–9:00pm, both taking a break over the winter and resuming in the spring; summer camp will be open only from 9:00am to 12:30pm on Thursday, July 2nd, and Friday, July 3rd due to forecasted high afternoon temperatures.
• Price: Recreation Center costs $25 for the year; Adult Basketball and Adult Volleyball are free.

The Recreation Center requires that a child be a Hasbrouck Heights resident or attend a Hasbrouck Heights school and be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, and Recreation Summer Camp is open to Hasbrouck Heights boys and girls 6–14 years old. Adult Basketball is open to men and women 25 years and older who are Hasbrouck Heights residents or graduates, does not allow out-of-town guests, is pick-up style, and participants sign in with a recreation representative and may later be asked to register on Community Pass for schedule emails. Adult Volleyball is open to men and women 18 years and older who are Hasbrouck Heights residents or graduates, does not allow out-of-town guests, is free, allows walk-in play with up to two courts set up if needed, and also uses sign-in with a recreation representative with possible later Community Pass registration for schedule emails.
