• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The summer camp is administered and operated by experienced staff and maintains a low staff-child ratio. The program is state certified for members in K–8th grade, is inspected, and meets the requirements of the Youth Camp Safety Act. The summer program will be subject to limited enrollment for 2025, registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis, and once the enrollment limit is reached, children are placed on a waiting list. Families with child care subsidy must submit paperwork regarding the child’s subsidy contract, and they are asked to select all weeks they are registering for at one time or complete enrollment again to add weeks.
The Program Director is Kyle Graham, and the contact for the child care subsidy or military family enrollment link is Jamie Cheney. The Boys & Girls Club of Hawthorne states that for over a century it has worked to support its children and that it is excited and looking forward to once again serve the youth of the community. The mission of the organization is to inspire and empower young people, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens by providing life-enhancing programs and character development experiences. The camp notes that its 2026 Youth of the Year Winner is Aniyah.
