Summer Camp Programs is a state certified program for members in kindergarten through 8th grade, and the entire camp is state certified, inspected, and meets the requirements of the Youth Camp Safety Act. The summer program is open to children who have completed kindergarten through the completion of eighth grade, and teen programs are available for grades 6–12. The camp is administered and operated by experienced staff, with Program Director Kyle Graham overseeing the program and Jamie Cheney listed as the contact for child care subsidy or military family enrollment links. The organization states that for over a century it has worked to support children and lists a mission to inspire and empower young people, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens by providing life-enhancing programs and character development experiences. The Boys & Girls Club of Hawthorne notes community involvement and support from Hawthorne Chevy, Downes, Boswell, RT 23, Fisk, Premio Foods, Shotmeyer Brothers, The Goldberg Family, Wells Fargo, Columbia Bank, PNC, Realtors Care Foundation, Crown Castle, and Doordash. Families with child care subsidy are required to submit paperwork regarding their child’s subsidy contract, and the program offers new flexible scheduling and locked-in pricing for 2026–2027.
