About
Music Together offers music classes where children and their grownups take part in music and movement, including singing, dancing, and jamming. The program brings families together in the same fun, informal class setting to share these music activities. All Music Together families sing and dance to the same music in class.

Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age eight and the grownups who love them. Its early childhood music curriculum has decades of research behind it in both music education and child development. Family music classes show parents, teachers, and caregivers how to help their children become confident music-makers by having fun making music themselves, and creating lasting family and community bonds through music is a major part of the programs. Music Together classes give families with children from birth through age eight the chance to get in touch with their inner musician and connect with other families.
Music Together in Schools is a curriculum that supports children’s music development and raises the overall quality of a child's education by supporting school readiness, family engagement, parent-child relationships, and teacher professional development. Music Together Within Therapy is a licensed application of Music Together for credentialed allied health professionals to support treatment of individuals or small groups in a range of settings, and individuals offering Music Together Within Therapy must be credentialed allied health professionals. Classes are offered at more than 2,000 locations in over 35 countries, and many Music Together centers around the world are hiring teachers, who come from many different backgrounds, including actors, professional musicians, stay-at-home parents, lawyers, and teachers.
Music Together is used at thousands of preschools, childcare centers, and other early learning settings around the world. Music schools, orchestras and symphonies, community arts organizations, licensed Music Together independent centers, and non-profit organizations can bring Music Together to schools in their community. A partnership between Goshen College Music Together and Triple P Elkhart County is studying the ways in which Music Together naturally supports early relational health in both preschool and infant classes. Music Together was first offered in 1987 and has a mission “to make the world a better place by making it more musical.”
