Howell Basketball Club offers recreational basketball programs, travel basketball programs, clinics, and a 5th Grade Intramural Basketball League. The program runs a Recreation Basketball Program and a recreational and instructional basketball season that includes divisions based on player grade level. The Howell Hawks Travel Program gives players a chance to compete against teams from other towns across the area and participate in a variety of leagues and tournaments over the course of the year.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: The Rec Season runs from December through March; the 2025–2026 recreational and instructional basketball season has come to a close. Next year’s 5th Grade Intramural Program registration will be in December 2026 and clinics will begin in mid-January 2027.
Howell Basketball Club is a non-profit youth basketball organization that runs recreational and travel basketball programs serving girls and boys from Kindergarten through High School who reside in Howell Township and Farmingdale, NJ. The Recreation Basketball Program allows kids from Kindergarten through High School to explore their interest in basketball and build their knowledge and skills of the game in a fun and competitive environment. All Howell Hawks teams participate in the Mid-Monmouth Basketball League in addition to a variety of other leagues and tournaments over the course of the year, and eligibility for the Howell Hawks Travel Program is based primarily on player birth date, with opportunities to play basketball all year round in the travel program.
The leadership team includes President Justin Vogel, VP of Rec Sarah Quinones, VP of Travel Mike Ingui, Treasurer Dave Emery, Secretary Rich Post, and Director of Facilities Deon McCall.
