About

Mozarts & Einsteins offers a summer performing arts camp along with music and dance lessons, including piano and voice lessons. Children and families can also take dance classes such as preschool dance, ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary, as well as science, Spanish, tutoring, music lessons, and art lessons. The program includes a Music and Arts Academy for all ages, an arts summer camp, and dance, music, and art lessons offered in the evenings and on Saturdays, along with a school-aged arts aftercare program for elementary and middle school children.

• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Kindergarten and preschool run Monday–Friday from 6:30am–6:30pm, and Music Academy lessons are available by appointment Monday–Thursday

The organization behind Mozarts & Einsteins began in 1992, expanded into a shopping center in Spotswood in 2005, opened its preschool in 2015, and in 2017 merged its music school and preschool into the same building, and states it has over 25 years of experience in education. The program follows a school model where the arts and academics are given equal time and weight during the day and offers music and art education for the whole family on a campus that combines a preschool and music school. Its mission statement notes that research has showed that arts integrated with academics improves test scores and sets the foundation for later in life.

Parent testimonials describe caring teachers, children coming home singing new songs, showing dances, and saying new Spanish words, and mention music, dance, science, and Spanish classes. One parent reports that the music program gave their children confidence and that they plan to enroll a younger child, and another parent, Kathleen, shares that her daughter took piano and voice for almost 10 years and that these lessons helped her get into Boston Conservatory.
