About
Smart Start Academy offers daily enrichment activities that include fun activities, learning projects, sensory activities, and hands-on learning activities. Children take part in creative play, early literacy and numeracy concepts, age-appropriate activities, and hands-on learning. The program also includes summer fun, birthdays and special occasions, open house events, after school programs, backup care, after school enrichment and homework help, special guest visits, field trips, and access to an indoor, state-of-the-art playground and an outdoor playground.

Smart Start Academy is an all-inclusive daycare and preschool that serves infants through pre-kindergarten with programs for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten. All-inclusive tuition covers daycare and preschool programs, extended hours, five healthy meals a day, daily nutritious meals, special events, special guest visits, and field trips. The program has a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio and states that it has top-rated safety measures. It offers daycare after school programs and backup care, with extended hours from 7 AM to 7 PM and local centers in the Heights, downtown Jersey City, and near Jersey Avenue, as well as multiple locations in Jersey City and Hoboken. The program states a focus on creating a warm, caring environment for infants, a structured environment for toddlers to learn routines and explore social interactions, play-based learning in the preschool program, and a structured curriculum in pre-kindergarten focused on language, math, science, and social studies, with a focus on helping every child grow at their own pace and open communication with families.
