Adam and Danielle’s Children’s Center is a state licensed summer youth program that focuses on freedom through play, personal responsibility, caring interaction with movement, and values. The program emphasizes children getting outdoors to run, jump, splash, watch, wonder, and be excited about the natural world, with children encouraged to explore and move about at their own pace. It offers endless safe and fun activities that focus on self-esteem, confidence, and social skills, and promotes the idea that summer camp friends are forever friends.
Adam and Danielle’s Children’s Center is celebrating over 40 years of caring for school-aged children. The program’s main stated goal is to keep children safe while their parents are at work and to provide a fun, rewarding experience that helps build each child’s confidence and self-esteem through a balanced schedule of activities that nurture mind, body, and spirit. The health and safety of the children, their families, and staff is described as the number one concern, and staff regard child safety and well-being as their highest priority. The center is state licensed and follows all guidelines set forth by the New Jersey Board of Health, with no religious ties or affiliations with any program site.
Adult staff are described as mature, well trained, long-tenured, and qualified child care providers, with a small staff-to-child ratio for individual attention. Staff are trained in first aid and CPR, have completed state background checks and fingerprinting, and each staff member has taken the mandatory training required by the state of New Jersey. The program states that it caters to working families and maintains a loyal co-existing relationship with the building in which it operates.
