Bucks County Academy of Fencing offers fencing through Taste of Fencing courses, ongoing training groups, and competition training groups. The program includes a competition training program and fencing classes specifically for 8-to-10-year-olds. Taste of Fencing allows participants to try the sport without a long term commitment or costly investment, and includes both foil and épée in engaging recreational and competitive programs.

Bucks County Academy of Fencing is a privately run club that is open year-round and is the largest fencing academy in Bucks County, with over 200 active students. It is open year-round to anyone, ages 8 years old through adult, who is interested in the sport of fencing, and it caters to a larger number of adult fencers than is typical in most clubs. The Hatfield, PA location includes 12 Olympic size strips and is home to an unusually strong community of veteran (40+) fencers. The program describes fencing as fun, safe, exciting and a great form of exercise, and states that fencing improves agility, balance, focus, and self-confidence.
The leadership team includes Maestro Mark Holbrow as Head Fencing Master, along with Dirk Goldgar and Jon Kurpaska, both Moniteur D’Armes, and the staff is described as certified and experienced. Bucks County Academy of Fencing opened in January of 1981 in New Hope, PA, moved to its current Lambertville, NJ location on September 8th, 2003, and BCAF-West opened in Hatfield, PA in September 2010. The organization notes that BCAF is celebrating 44 years and marking its 45th anniversary. Bucks County Academy of Fencing states that it prides itself on a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere for fencers of all ages and experience levels and notes that it gives back to the community.
