Karate Fit USA

Karate Fit USA offers children's karate and martial arts classes that include karate, traditional weapons, Small Circle Jujitsu techniques, grappling techniques, and MMA training. The program also offers adult martial arts classes that include weapons and a combination of styles such as Ryukyu Kempo, Traditional Japanese Karate, Small Circle Jujitsu, Modern Arnis, grappling techniques, and MMA training. Classes use two different rooms to focus on subgroups within a class, with small class sizes and separate classes for different age groups and experience levels.

Karate Fit USA was founded to promote self-defense and self-development. KF USA has been in the Lawrence area since the 80s and is a longstanding independent Lawrenceville martial arts academy, not a corporate or chain school. The program is open to all ages who are potty-trained and to all abilities, and offers private lessons, a free trial class (group or private mini-class), a New Student Special for an extended risk-free period, and virtual options to supplement in-person classes. Karate Fit USA has been voted “Best Karate School” by Trentonian readers each year it has been in the Lawrence Shopping Center and is currently the only recognized Small Circle Jujitsu academy in New Jersey.

Sensei Swingle has multiple black belts and extensive experience in the US and Japan and, as a 5th degree Shihan (Master Instructor), has been Head Instructor since 2018. Instructors include Mark Swingle Godan (5th Degree Black), Patrick Casey Yodan (4th Degree Black), Gary Bizuga Sandan (3rd Degree Black), Matthew Connolly Sandan (3rd Degree Black), Trevor Papp Sandan (3rd Degree Black), Charles Christine Sandan (3rd Degree Black), and Sai Kommuru Nidan (2nd Degree Black). The leadership team includes Anushka Shodan (1st Degree Black) and Guadalupe Shodan (1st Degree Black).
