Do-Re-Mi School of Music and the Arts – Art Program is part of a broader enrichment program that includes music enrichment classes, art enrichment classes, chess enrichment classes, Russian enrichment classes, and math enrichment classes. Students can also take piano classes and violin classes and participate in Traditional Studio Recitals, Multi-Teacher Holiday Concerts, Multi-Teacher Themed Concerts, and Spring Russian Concerts. The program offers online lessons via Zoom, FaceTime, and WhatsApp.
• Schedule: Lessons available seven days a week, with hours Monday–Friday 9 AM–9 PM, Saturday 8 AM–8 PM, and Sunday 9 AM–4 PM.
Every class, including piano, violin, chess, and Russian, is taught by experienced, university-trained professionals. The school has served over 2,000 families since 2002 and has a proven track record since 2002. It reports an exceptional piano retention rate that is 7–8 times higher than the national average. Performing options include in-school recitals with no participation fees and opportunities to audition for Carnegie Hall and other prestigious venues, as well as preparation for RCM and ABRSM exams. Dedicated office staff are available seven days a week, and families can choose month-to-month enrollment with no long-term contracts or semester commitments, with summer lessons available but not required. The program serves students from Livingston and nearby areas, including Short Hills, Millburn, Springfield, Summit, West Orange, East Hanover, Verona, the Caldwells, Montclair, and surrounding areas.
