Camp By The Sea includes age-appropriate activities such as art, swimming, water play, dance, music, sports, Shabbat, gaga, and daily theme days. Campers take trips, including weekly trips to the beach, and take part in free swim, art projects, competitive sports, and fun age-appropriate games and activities. The L.I.T. Leaders In Training program includes learning how to become a great counselor and leader while still having fun as a teenager.

• Schedule: Four and eight week options are available.
• Price: A 3% service fee, which is less than the credit card service fees charged to the JCC, will be applied to all credit card transactions.
Camp By The Sea is rooted in Jewish values and supports the mission of the Marjorie & Lewis Katz JCC by fostering an appreciation of Jewish identity, values, and culture. The camp program works to strengthen Jewish family life, build a sense of community, and support Jewish continuity, and it promotes active participation in a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Camp Tikvah is part of Camp By The Sea and gives children with special needs the opportunity to fully participate in all camp activities alongside their peers, rather than being limited to segregated programs.
Parents and grandparents describe Camp By The Sea as having a positive, spirited, warm, and caring atmosphere, and they report that their children and grandchildren enjoy camp, their counselors, and the activities. One grandparent notes that a camper who had been frightened of animals was later happy to pet the camp’s collection of pets, and several families mention that their children come home with many stories about their days at camp.
