Katz JCC Aquatics / Swimming Lessons are part of the aquatics programs offered through the Katz JCC, alongside other activities such as fitness programs, personal training, and group classes. In addition to swimming and aquatics, the broader program setting includes concerts, films, lectures, mahjong, book clubs, Jewish education, teen travel adventures, summer camp, and golf events such as Tournament FORE Charity and Nine and Dine. The aquatics programs are directed by Aquatics Director Michael Courter as part of the Katz JCC leadership team.

For more than 105 years, the Jewish Community Center has been a focal point of Atlantic County, and Katz JCC Aquatics / Swimming Lessons operate within this long-established community setting. The mission of the Marjorie & Lewis Katz JCC of Atlantic County includes fostering an appreciation of Jewish identity, values and culture, promoting the health, education and welfare of members, strengthening Jewish family life, building a sense of community, and ensuring Jewish continuity for current and future generations. The Katz JCC is described as the heart of the South Jersey Jewish community and offers additional programs such as Camp By The Sea, weekly Friday Shabbat celebrations with Early Childhood Education Center students, active adults and senior programming, and teen travel adventures. Through a countywide senior nutrition program, the Katz JCC also offers meals and activities at eight locations across Atlantic County and has provided fundraising support, leadership, and a summer camp for local youth in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City in 2014. The broader leadership team includes Chief Executive Officer Marg Rosenblatt, Associate Executive Director / Development Director Brian M. Adler, Aquatics Director Michael Courter, and other directors, officers, board members, honorary leaders, and past presidents.
