The YMCA of Montclair works to empower young people, improve health and well-being, and inspire action in and across the community, and serves Bloomfield, Bloomingdale, Clifton, Cedar Grove, Glen Ridge, Haskell, Hewitt, Montclair, Verona, Wanaque, and West Milford. All campers must have a Y membership prior to February 10 to register for camp, and any outstanding balance on the account will prevent registration. A 10% sibling discount is applied to the child with the lowest camp tuition for eligible families, and scholarship recipients who register more than one child do not receive the sibling discount. Friend requests for the camp season are not accepted, and if a child is not within the age range, registration is not possible. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least five business days before the draft date to avoid being drafted, and two weeks before the camp start date to be eligible for a refund minus the deposit. Registration forms must have all required fields completed, including selecting a branch and answering the question on allergies, and the program follows the YMCA’s four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
