Trinity Episcopal Preschool was established in 2000 after the idea of creating a preschool at the church began in the late 1900s. Construction began in 1999, and the director Nancy Johnson was hired and began work on September 1, 1999. The preschool received its license to operate in March 2000 and opened on April 4, 2000, as a “Spring Fling,” with two of the five classrooms operating that fall. The leadership team includes Preschool Director Christine Andonie, former director Nancy Johnson, and Mother Emily, the church’s rector. The mission of the preschool is to extend its ministry into the community by providing a positive learning experience for preschool children with a focus on Christian ideals.
