Trinity Episcopal Preschool

Trinity Episcopal Preschool offers programs for children ages 2 through 5. The 2.5-Year-Old Program includes creative play and self-expression, the 3-Year-Old Class includes learning through creative play, circle time, and the arts, and the 4-Year-Old Class includes writing, letter sounds, numbers, and cutting. Transitional Kindergarten includes math, science, and a reading program using the “Letter People” curriculum.

Programs

• 2.5-Year-Old Program — 2.5 years old (by September 1) · 2-day program; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:10am–11:10am · $180–$1,800 per month · Designed to help children develop security outside the home, experience creative play, and grow in self-expression and socialization within a group.
• 3-Year-Old Class — 3 years old (by September 30) · 2-day program; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:10am–11:40pm · $350–$3,500 per month · Teaches social skills, learning through creative play, and introduces and reinforces colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
• 3-Year-Old Class — 3 years old (by September 30) · 3-day program; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:20am–11:50pm · $350–$3,500 per month · Basic introduction to classroom learning through play, circle time, and the arts with a focus on social and emotional development.
• 4-Year-Old Class — 4 years old (by September 30) · 3-day program; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:10am–11:40pm · $460–$4,600 per month · Active preparation for kindergarten with emphasis on writing, upper- and lower-case letters, letter sounds, numbers, and cutting.
• 4-Year-Old Class — 4 years old (by September 30) · 4-day or 5-day schedule; 9:00am–11:30am · $460–$4,600 per month · Children learn through creative play, the arts, and fun, and are encouraged to take on personal responsibility and specific skills.
• Transitional Kindergarten — 5 years old · 5-day program; Monday through Friday, 8:50am–11:50am · $530–$5,300 per month · Designed for children not quite ready for kindergarten; strong emphasis on math, science, and a reading program using the “Letter People” curriculum.
• Transitional Kindergarten — 5 years old · 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day schedule · $530–$5,300 per month · Full program with a structured day that still allows time for play and socialization.

About the provider

Established in 2000, Trinity Episcopal Preschool says its mission is to extend its ministry into the community by providing a positive focus on Christian ideals. Community service includes giving food for those in need at Thanksgiving time and adopting families in December at Christmas time.

There is a yearly non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 per student. Starting in October, children attend a 10–15 minute weekly chapel service. The preschool no longer offers the two-day Pre-K option.
