Scribbles Preschool includes activities such as singing songs, playing with friends, creating art, exploring the world around them, staying active, and enjoying music, stories, and interactive finger plays. Children can also take part in specific offerings like Travelin’ Tumblers (gymnastics), Technology Toolbox (computers), The Jam Cats (music), PESA (sports), Book Nook, Around the World Adventure, Kids Club, and the Creative Drama/Five Senses program.

Since 1984, Scribbles Preschool has been part of the Mountain Lakes community. The program is guided by dedicated and experienced teachers and offers early childhood education with classrooms built around a child’s perspective and a multi-dimensional approach to teaching. Every activity is described as thoughtfully designed to support growth in speech and language, math and measurement, movement and motor skills, science and discovery, artistic expression, and social and emotional development.
Scribbles & Bits (for ages 1–2 years) is a weekly 1-hour session for parents and toddlers. INTRO Introduction to Preschool is described as a gentle and gradual introduction to preschool in a relaxed, supportive, small group setting, and potty training is not required to join. Children who turn 2 years and 3 months later in the winter are welcome to begin INTRO in January, with tuition prorated. The INTRO core class runs from 8:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with an option to extend to 2:00 p.m. through enrichment programs.
The 3s program is described as a nurturing, play-based environment focused on building confidence, independence, and early learning skills. Classes for the 3s program run from 8:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with an option to extend the day until 2:00 p.m. through enrichment opportunities, and families can choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 mornings per week. Intro and 3s enrichment courses are described as designed to complement the classroom experience with engaging activities that build important skills.
The Pre-K program is described as preparing children for kindergarten through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in a nurturing and dynamic environment. The Pre-K core curriculum runs from 8:40 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with an extension to 2:00 p.m. available through enrichments. Families can choose a 4-morning schedule or a 5-morning schedule that includes the Creative Drama/Five Senses program on Fridays. Pre-K enrichment includes a rotating lineup of activities: Travelin’ Tumblers (gymnastics), Technology Toolbox (computers), The Jam Cats (music), PESA (sports), Book Nook, Around the World Adventure, and Kids Club.
