Dance Xperience Summer Camps and Classes

Dance Xperience Summer Camps and Classes offers daytime themed dance camps such as Royal Princess Dance Camp, BLUEY Dance Camp, TAYLOR SWIFT MINIS CAMP, WICKED MINIS DANCE CAMP, RISE OF RED Dance Camp, and WICKED Dance Camp, along with an evening schedule of classes including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre, and Twinkle Star Dance Program options. Camp activities include dance styles like Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Ballet, and Acro, as well as themed crafts, dance parties, and mini shows or performances for family and friends. The program also offers a Dance Company: DXC, a Free Trial Lesson, and small class sizes for personalized attention in every class.

• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Daytime camps run Monday–Friday, 9am–12pm on specific weeks in July and August, and evening classes run on the same day each week for 8 weeks from June 30th–August 21st.
• Price: $175 per week for each themed camp, or $160 per week if registered before June 20th.

Royal Princess Dance Camp runs 9am–12pm July 7th–11th and August 4th–8th at the Mt Laurel location, and July 14th–18th at the Medford location, and includes exploration of a different Disney Princess each day, Tap, Ballet and Jazz movement, a Royal Princess Tea Party day where dancers dress up as their favorite Princess, and a magical show for family and friends at the end of the week; this camp requires dancers to be potty-trained. BLUEY Dance Camp runs 9am–12pm July 21st–25th at the Mt Laurel location and August 11th–15th at the Medford location, and includes Tap, Ballet and Hip Hop/Jazz movement, themed dances, crafts, a Bluey Dance Party, and a show for family and friends, and also requires dancers to be potty-trained. TAYLOR SWIFT MINIS CAMP runs 9am–12pm July 7th–11th (Mt Laurel only) and includes Hip Hop, Lyrical/Ballet, Jazz and Acro, themed crafts, a Swiftie Spectacular Dance Party, and a mini concert for family and friends. WICKED MINIS DANCE CAMP runs 9am–12pm August 4th–8th (Mt Laurel only) and includes Jazz, Lyrical/Ballet and Hip Hop choreography to Wicked songs, themed crafts, a mini show, and a Wicked Dance Party day where dancers can dress up as Glinda or Elphaba, enjoy treats, games and more. RISE OF RED Dance Camp runs 9am–12pm July 21st–25th (Mt Laurel only), is inspired by the Descendants universe, and includes high-energy choreography, themed crafts and games, a Rise of Red Dance Party, and a special performance for friends and family. WICKED Dance Camp runs 9am–12pm August 11th–15th (Mt Laurel only) and includes Jazz, Lyrical/Ballet and Hip Hop choreography to Wicked songs, themed crafts, a mini show, and a Wicked Dance Party day where dancers can dress up as Glinda or Elphaba, enjoy treats, games and more.

During the summer evening session from June 30th–August 21st, classes meet once a week on the same day for 8 weeks and include Twinkle Babies, Twinkle Stars, Showstars Ballet, Showstars Jazz, Showstars Tap, Showstars Hip Hop, Showstars Acro, Tiny Tumblers, Ballet Beg, Ballet Int with Pre-Pointe/Pointe, Ballet Adv with Pointe, Jazz Beg, Jazz Int, Jazz Adv, Tap Beg/Int, Tap Int/Adv, Hip Hop Beg, Hip Hop Int, Hip Hop Int/Adv, Lyrical Beg, Lyrical Int, Lyrical Adv, Acro Beg/Int, Acro Int/Adv, and Musical Theatre. Twinkle Babies is a 30 minute introductory class containing Ballet and Creative Movement, using engaging music and props such as Twinkle Bears and hula hoops, and the Twinkle Babies 3–4yrs class requires dancers to be potty-trained. The Twinkle Star Dance Program, Tot Hop, and other Showstars classes are offered in specific age groupings such as 2–3yrs, 3–4yrs, 4–5yrs, 4–6yrs, 5–6yrs, and 6–7yrs, with set time slots on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Dance Xperience states that it is continually instilling motivation, confidence, commitment, and respect in an exciting, fun-filled environment for its students, and that it wishes to pass on dance technique and a passion and love for dance. The stated goal is to create a positive and happy experience for all students, with dance lessons taught by fun, energetic dance professionals in a safe, rewarding and empowering atmosphere, using age appropriate music, costumes and classes that enhance concentration, a healthy body image, musicality and an appreciation for the arts. The studio states that it feels it is extremely important to teach both dance skills and life skills that dancers can take with them outside of the studio, and that it focuses on teaching both dance skills and life skills. Dance Xperience has a compassionate teaching staff who are highly qualified to teach dance and offers creative camps and classes designed to have dancers off their devices and on their feet, as well as a Dance Company: DXC for the more serious dancer and limited spots available for camps and classes.
