New Providence Soccer Club offers soccer activities that include NPSC clinics and games with the NPHS players. The program includes an annual NPSC Cares day that features these clinics and games with the NPHS players and a chance to give back to the community.

Since 1972, a group of dedicated volunteers has worked through New Providence Soccer Club to promote the game of soccer for both girls and boys of New Providence, and over the past 45+ years the club has been the home of soccer in the town. The club states that it is dedicated to the promotion and organization of youth soccer at both the recreational and competitive level, and that it is committed to the development of its players and coaches in order to allow them to reach their fullest potential and to instill sportsmanship and fellowship while developing a community spirit among all of its members. New Providence Soccer Club notes that it is celebrating 50 years, that it sponsors teams in various leagues to ensure all players have a quality experience and play against competition suited to their abilities, that it begins its offerings in Kindergarten and continues through High School, that its philosophy is to accommodate players of all skill levels and abilities, that it offers all players who desire to play at a competitive level an opportunity to learn the necessary skills, and that it encourages teams to be competitive but not at the expense of player development.
Dave Snyder serves as the Director of Coaching and Player Development for New Providence Soccer Club. His listed credentials include serving as an NJ Olympic Development Program Tryout Evaluator; holding a USSF National E Coaching License; completing the USYSA National Coaching Course; and earning multiple United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) diplomas, including Advanced Technical Training, Possession that Leads to Goals, Player Development, Goalkeeper, Reading the Game, High School Special Topics, and Small-Sided Games, as well as First Aid and CPR/AED. Following the 2015 high school soccer season, he was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as the National Assistant Coach of the Year for the East Region, and in 2018 he was inducted into the Seton Hall Prep Hall of Fame for the impact he has had on the program and for the passion he exudes for it. The club reports that Dave has adapted the youth development program in New Providence to the US Youth Soccer and United Soccer Coaches player development standards, that he continues to develop the coaching acumen of the parent coaches in NPSC by running coaching clinics and sharing current soccer coaching methods, and that in 2018 he was interviewed on the European Football Coaching Podcast for his insights on player development and his experience with high school soccer.
