Carousel of Learning, Early Learning Center & Child Care

Carousel of Learning, Early Learning Center & Child Care offers activities that include Sign Language, Spanish, Art Appreciation, and yoga. The program includes daycare services for growing young minds and uses a research-based curriculum with interest-based learning experiences and activities to address each child's individual needs. Learning experiences are hands-on, developmentally appropriate, and multi-sensory, and are individualized to meet each child’s needs and learning styles.

The center is owned and operated by a New Jersey State Certified Teacher with 40 years of experience working with children, and staff are CPR and First Aid certified. The program uses learning environments that integrate inspirations from Reggio Emilia, Montessori practical life exercises, and the works of Piaget, Vygotsky, Bruner, and Magda Gerber. The mission states that the program offers a balanced approach to child development and learning that addresses the whole child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while fostering curiosity and creativity. The mission also states that the program provides time for free exploration, open-ended play, discovery, and nature appreciation, and that freedom within the structure of the program promotes independence, responsibility, decision making, and problem solving.
