Garden State Council Scouting Programs

Garden State Council Scouting Programs include Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouting, and Exploring. Garden State Council camp properties serve as gateways to adventures in the Pine Barrens, the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, and everything in between. Garden State Council also offers an exclusive online store for customizable gear that is not found in their Scout Shops.

Scouting in Garden State Council is described as adventure, family, fun, character, leadership, and more, where boys and girls start with their best right-now selves and grow into their very best future selves. Fun, hands-on learning and achievement put kids in the middle of the action and prepare them for today and for life. Garden State Council serves kids and their families in six New Jersey counties, supporting the experiences of nearly 5,000 youth throughout South Jersey. Garden State Council has programs for Cub Scouts (boys and girls in grades K–5, ages 5–10), Scouts BSA (youth in grades 6–12, ages 11–17), and co-ed Venturing, Sea Scouting, and Exploring programs for ages 14–20. Support for Scouting in Garden State Council can include donating through Friends of Scouting, purchasing popcorn or camp cards from a local Scout, and attending Women of Achievement or regional Citizenship Awards dinners.
