Rutgers Rec Kids includes swim lessons, fossil hunting at Big Brook, and summer sunset kayaking trips. The program also connects families to fitness and wellness classes, certification classes, massage therapy and wellness services, personal training, and use of open recreation spaces such as fitness centers, multi-sports courts, multi-purpose rooms, pools, racquet sports, and locker rooms. During Summer 2026, the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center will remain open while all other recreation and fitness facilities are scheduled to reopen in mid to late August.

• Price: Alumni membership options include 1 Month without Parking for $54 (current price) and $60 (effective 8/1/26), 1 Month with Parking for $104 (current price) and $110 (effective 8/1/26), and 12 Months for $415 (current price) and $460 (effective 8/1/26); Sponsored Member options include 1 Month without Parking for $45 (current price) and $50 (effective 8/1/26), and 12 Months for $375 (current price) and $415 (effective 8/1/26); RU Employee membership is $26 for 1 Month and $312 for 12 Months.
