GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps offer four-day lacrosse camps that include specific activities such as defense (team and individual), ground balls, dodging (split, roll, face), shooting, triangle offense, stick skills, clearing, man up/man down, and face-off and wing play. Camp days include stretching and warm-up, individual skill work, positional training, team concepts, team games, and evening activities, along with a “Lax Talk” session and scheduled breaks.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Day and Half Day Camps run 9am–3pm over 4 days, with many camps offering a half day option (9am–Noon) for younger campers ages 5–8; Extended Day Camps run 9am–8pm; Overnight camps run 4 days and 3 nights, with overnight campers receiving 4–6 hours of training each day
Since 2001, GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps have been offering lacrosse instructional programs, and over 100,000 campers have attended since inception. The camps are open to any and all entrants and are geared to players of all ability levels, from beginners to experienced players, with separate girls’ and boys’ lacrosse camps. Campers are evaluated on the first day and placed in groups, and the curriculum combines a proven instructional plan with attention to individual campers. Options include Full or Half-Day camps, Overnight camps with comfortable dorm room accommodations and all-you-can-eat buffet meals, and an Extended Day Camp option at all overnight locations that includes lunch and dinner. Day and Half Day campers are required to bring their own lunch and water bottles.
Directors and coaches at GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps include current and former professional lacrosse players, winning college coaches, and high school and youth club coaches. GameBreaker is recognized as a national leader for lacrosse instruction and education and employs a staff that is Double-Goal Certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance, with staff members described as responsible and trained to be role models on and off the field. The stated mission of GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps is to provide young athletes with the opportunity to become better lacrosse players through instruction from top coaches in a positive and fun atmosphere, with a focus on both skill development and character development, including leadership skills and good sportsmanship.
