Summer Horizons Camp offers age-appropriate activities for children ages 2.5 to 16. Pre-K Camp includes gardening, field sports, games, pool time, water play, music and dance, arts and crafts, and playground time. 1st and 2nd Grade Camp includes field trips, soccer and basketball, painting and coloring, pool time, inflatables, gardening, playground time, and cooking.
Programs

- 3rd & 4th Grade Camp — Entering Grades 3 & 4 · Adventure-packed camp; the page says it is designed to challenge, inspire, and engage curious minds.

About the provider
The West Morris Area YMCA Summer Horizons Day Camp is mandated and inspected by the State of New Jersey Department of Health and follows all NJ DOH Youth Camp Safety Standards. Camp staff are Professional Level certified in CPR/AED and First Aid, and a certified NJREMT is on site during the camp day. The YMCA says it believes in nurturing the potential of every child and teen through its programs and initiatives.
- AM Care — $40–$50 per session · Hours 7:30-8:45 am. Additional fee.
- PM Care — $40–$50 per session · Hours 4:00-5:30 pm. Additional fee.
A West Morris Area YMCA membership must be maintained from signup through the entirety of the program to receive the member rate. Termination of membership will result in loss of membership program rates. All campers must have up to date immunization records and completed Health History and Medication Administration forms submitted within 5 days of camp registration. Pre-K/K Camp requires children to be fully potty-trained.
