Rutherford Recreation Programs include activities such as the Summer Concert Series in Lincoln Park, Spring Tennis Lessons, the Rutherford Recreation Summer Day Camp, a Holiday House Decorating Contest, the Annual Egg Hunt, the “Ragamuffin” Parade, and Fireworks. The department states that it is committed to providing residents both the young and young-at-heart with programs that foster a sense of community, sportsmanship, and well-being. The program also highlights a Coaches Community, information on badges and field permits, forms, rules and policies, recreation news, volunteer opportunities, sponsorship opportunities, and the Fitness Court at Memorial Park.
